Fucking police, do your job!

I am taking a break from ironing NewscasterHotties dress shirts to share a little story with you. Today I went to the local police station to collect a memory card that was used in a case a few weeks ago. You see there was some domestic violence in the DirtyLaundryDiva household. I was fuming mad and after I got myself in the middle of a full on brawl I grabbed my camera and recorded some of the situation.

Anywho the cops came to figure out what was going on and I showed them my recording of the events, they needed the memory card as evidence in the case so I turned it over and was given a voucher to collect my memory card after the case was closed.

Today when I went to the police station it was the 2nd time I was attempting to collect said memory card. Once again my property has not been released from evidence according to the very rude receptionist in the property department. WTF?

The rude receptionist tells me who I need to call to get my stuff released. Honestly? The case was closed and the stuff should have been released. What can I possibly do to the my stuff released? I am sorry but getting people to do their job is not my responsibility, I just want my shit back and I am doing what I was instructed to do (to come with my voucher to pick it up).

It seems like everyone is just being an incompetent ass today, it is fucking pissing me off! Now I need to leave multiple messages for jackass #1 and Jackass #2 at the police station to get my property moved from the evidence pile to the released pile just so I can get it back, freaking ridiculous! Wake up and do your fucking job guys, seriously.

  3. Sorry to hear about the homestead issues and just as sorry to hear that the police are living up to their Keystone Cop incompetent stereotypes. I’ve had to deal with the police to report a missing person and to report a suspicious person. Both times I was treated rudely and condescendingly. I have to fight to avoid the “all police are corrupt, lazy assholes” mentality but some days it is. so. hard.

  4. I think I should add that I live in NYC and the police have been trying to improve their image after several corruption busts, police brutality claims, etc. The police I meet in my neighborhood seem like nice men and women but overall, the police’s reputation for protecting and serving is at a low here.
