I guess it is a WTF morning!

So I am sitting at my kitchen table with my laptop and my cup of coffee just enjoying the morning. Now, my kitchen has 3 large windows that provide a good view of my backyard and the yards of neighbors. It is great for people watching! I figured it would be nice to enjoy the view while working on my computer…

While I am sipping my coffee and writing I hear some commotion outside. When I look up the neighbor kids from the house behind me are out in their backyard talking and carrying on. Now we have a shared fence so we all get to enjoy each others activities. No nude sun bathing for me, too bad!

Anyway, I shrug off the noise pollution and go back to my writing and coffee sipping, I am now slightly annoyed with their noise but they are teenagers- what do you expect? Besides we live like 5 feet from each other so even if they were quite it would still be noise pollution.

All of the sudden out of the corner of my eye I see one of the teenage boys walking right over to our shared fence (which is only like 3 feet tall) with something in his hand. He is acting all disgusted with what he is carrying and he is still coming right for the shared fence so I watch him to see what is going on.

The other kid remarks “man that is so gross, what are you going to do with it?”. The teenage boy who is still headed towards our shared fence says “we just leave them all out here”. He stops at the shared fence and releases a dead mouse from his mouse trap.

The mouse flops to the ground in his yard and is just left there in the pile of leaves, pine needles and other decomposing mice. The boys then joke about how there is a pile of them out by the fence just “chillin”, they laugh and go back inside the house.

So much for a nice morning sipping coffee and enjoying the view of my backyard huh? WTF?

    yuckkkkky!! I hate the sight of dead rodents. *gag* I found a huge dead possum in my garage one day. It was disgusting!! Someone had killed it and left it there to rot. I don’t recommend ANY dead rodent first thing in the morning! :)
